Job Overview

This is an ongoing, full-time position in Warrnambool. As a Case Manager, you will apply evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate factors related to individual offending behaviour
  • Foster motivation and engagement in the case management process
  • Prepare detailed reports and standard documents in line with procedural guidelines
  • Monitor individuals' compliance with order requirements

  • Demonstrate assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours
  • BUILD POSITIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS and work effectively in a close-knit team
  • Understand case management practices relating to complex individuals
  • Model pro-social behaviours and motivate those around you
  • PAY ATTENTION TO WORDS, EXPRESSIONS, AND BODY LANGUAGE; RECOGNISE BEHAVIOURS THAT PROMOTE AN INCLUSIVE CULTURE
About the Role

Case Managers in this role apply evidence-based case management to reduce reoffending risk and engage individuals in targeted interventions. This role supports rehabilitation and public safety.

Travel Requirements

Please note some travel may be required across the South West region as part of this role.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to apply case management practices to individuals with complex needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and documentation
  • Eligibility to undergo pre-employment checks (police checks, reference checks, and other checks as required)
