
Disability Advocacy Workshop Facilitator

The Community Impact team design, develop and implement large-scale education programs on behalf of corporations and governments to create a social benefit in society.
We are seeking someone with lived experience of disability to share their experiences with school-aged children, to inspire, educate and join our team based in the Sydney region, NSW.

This is a casual role with expected weekly hours around 15, worked over 3 days per week, primarily during school term time.
- Deliver world-class workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas, in person and virtually.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships whilst collecting valuable teacher feedback.
- Achieve key performance indicators related to workshop quality and evaluation feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of living with a disability, including sharing your lived experience and drawing on your personal stories to underpin the important message of social inclusion.
- Previous experience in presenting, teaching or educating; ideally to school age groups.
- Ability to engage, inspire and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
- Valid and current Working with Children Check.
