This role is focused on leading new client acquisition in Sydney, driving the establishment of a local presence and building a client base from the ground up.

A growing national Managed Services Provider seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in the company's national expansion.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and targeted campaigns
  • Conduct market research to map potential client segments and develop a go-to-market plan
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and C-level stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Track pipeline activity and report on sales metrics and forecasts
  • Contribute to refining sales strategies and continuously improving business development processes

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven track record in B2B business development, ideally within the IT services, technology, or MSP space
  • Strong ability to open new doors and build relationships from a cold start
  • Commercially astute, with a consultative and solutions-based approach to selling
  • Skilled at selling to senior executives, Boards, and other key decision-makers
