Job Overview

The Head of Performance Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, integration, and delivery of Sports Science, Sports Medicine (SSSM), and performance technology services.

This position will work with elite athletes through performance analysis, athlete management, fitness, injury prevention and rehabilitation, wellbeing strategies, and performance psychology to achieve world-class support.

This role contributes directly to ensuring that our elite athletes have access to best-in-class services to enable them to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and drive strategic performance outcomes.
  • Oversee a program that builds organisational capacity in data literacy and applied analytics.
  • Develop and implement contemporary health and sport sciences practices.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Sport Technology, and Analytics or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in leadership, performance science, or health systems (preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience in elite sport or high-performance environments, with at least 3 years in a proven leadership role.
