Job Title: Senior Strength Coach

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strength Coach to join our high-performance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing world-class strength and conditioning programs to maximize the physical performance of nationally categorized athletes within our Rugby Sevens Academy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strength and conditioning coaching, with experience working with elite athletes. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement evidence-based strength and conditioning programs that meet the needs of our athletes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of strength and conditioning coaches.
  • Collaborate with other members of the performance support team to create a high-performance environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., exercise science, sports science).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a strength and conditioning coach, preferably at the elite level.
  • Current certification in a relevant discipline (e.g., ASCA, CSCS).
