Mechnical Fitter Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team and undertake mechanical fitting trade activities for various clients. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment, adhering to strict industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience post-trade, preferably 10 years or more
  • Forklift license
  • Gas detection training
  • Work Safely at Heights certification (RIIWHS204D)
  • C Class Drivers' License
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
