We are seeking a skilled mechanical craftsman to join our maintenance team in Gladstone, Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Comply with Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and follow quality assurance and control policies and procedures.
  • Support the maintenance of non-core and critical operating assets as directed by the client or OEM contractor.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs.
  • Follow permit to work policies and procedures to ensure workplace safety.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • A trade qualification in mechanical fitting is required.
  • An EWP Yellow Card or WP certificate is essential.
  • Work Safely at Heights certification is necessary.
  • A Maritime Security Identification Card is required.
  • A C Class Drivers' License is essential.
Desirable/Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant environments is desirable.
  • A Forklift License would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated skills in minor machinery activities are beneficial.
  • Gas detection training is preferred.
