Trade Assistant positions are available for experienced individuals with a Telehandler ticket. This opportunity is based in Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions, working on the Waratah Battery Project.

The job involves assisting tradespeople and operating heavy machinery. To be successful, applicants must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be able to work independently.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Experience working on substations and switchyards is highly desirable, as is possession of a TransGrid 5.1 training certificate.

The contract duration will be approximately 8-12 weeks, with LAFHA (Living Away from Home Allowance) provided for eligible candidates. DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) arrangements are in place, and travel time will be compensated.

We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals who can adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a team environment.
