Category Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Analyst to join our Group Supply Chain team based in North Sydney. In this critical role, you will deliver high-quality category analysis and support end-to-end tender administration.

Your expertise will help drive smarter sourcing decisions, reduce supplier risks, and create value across a diverse supplier base.

The Job Description

As a Category Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering detailed spend analysis, market research, and supplier performance reviews.
  • Providing reports and insights to enhance category strategies and sourcing decisions.
  • Uncovering opportunities to drive cost savings and supplier consolidation.

You will work closely with senior category managers, legal, finance, and project teams to support cross-functional procurement initiatives and transformation projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, supply chain, or related field.
  • Solid experience in procurement, category management, or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Power BI.
  • Excellent time management and project coordination experience.
