Indoor Plants Technician

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indoor Plants Technician to join our team. As an Indoor Plants Technician, you will play a vital role in creating inspiring interior nature environments that stimulate the senses for staff and customers alike.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of our offices, where you will work independently to achieve set targets and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily service runs, meeting contractual obligations and establishing quality standards at all times.
  • Care and maintenance of plants by following the GROW principles (groom, rotate, observe and water), which includes weeding, trimming, fertilising, pest treatment & watering and replacements.
  • Pruning, shaping and staking of plants for optimal growth and quality.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer service standards in line with our Values and Mission statement.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally, with follow-up as required.
  • Participate in team/branch meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and branch igloos.
Requirements:
  • Full Australian driver's licence (manual).
  • The ability to work independently to achieve set targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • A passion for plants and gardening.
  • Certificate qualifications in Horticulture would be desirable but not necessary, as training is provided.
