RAC Auto Services, a leading automotive business in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Service Centre Manager to join their team in Bentley. As a key member of the Auto Services Team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a high-performing team of automotive professionals to deliver quality services and repairs to members and motorists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of automotive professionals to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Oversee the operational performance of the service centre, aligning with the Auto Services strategic plan and ensuring excellence in customer and member service.
  • Manage key performance indicators, including revenue, profitability, quality assurance, and compliance, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and manage health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct performance planning and staff management in line with RAC policies and procedures, fostering a highly engaged work culture.
  • Optimize and grow the existing client base, leveraging sales and business acumen to drive revenue growth.
  • Review, recommend, and implement operational improvements for efficiency, ensuring the service centre operates at optimal levels.
  • Manage inventory, stock, and equipment, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in retention, recruitment, and selection activities, contributing to the development of a high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated coaching and consultative leadership style, with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Sound sales and business acumen, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry and market trends.
  • Proven ability to grow an existing client base, leveraging sales and business skills to drive revenue growth.
  • High-level written and verbal communication, along with strong relationship management skills, to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions.
  • Well-developed organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
