About the Role">

**Platform Technical Lead Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Technical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our platform, working closely with our project team and technical staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technical leader to take on a key role in shaping the future of our platform.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities">

- Lead Development Team: Manage and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with technical and business area staff to facilitate the rapid resolution of issues and faults within fielded production systems and those still under development.
- Develop System Schedule: Create and maintain system development schedules to ensure milestones and timelines are met.
- Communicate Outcomes: Effectively communicate outcomes to product owners, establishing the basis for future practice.
- Track Progress: Monitor sprint progress and identify any divergence from allocated tasks.
- Present to Stakeholders: Oversee and present system showcases to various stakeholders.
- Product Planning Lifecycle: Understand and manage the product planning lifecycle, including collaboration with the Product Owner to effectively manage the product backlog.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

- Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a development team, with experience working across Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and acting as a liaison between technical and business teams.
- Agile Processes: Knowledge and experience of Agile processes, including estimation and planning.
- Backend Development: Experience with backend development using web API and SQL technologies.
- Version Control: Extensive experience with GIT version control and working across multiple repositories.
- Team Management: Demonstrated experience leading teams using Agile methodologies, with the ability to manage staff while developing capabilities, encouraging career development, and promoting professionalism.
