Job Overview

The role of Senior Technical Lead is a pivotal position that combines technical expertise with strategic leadership. This individual will be responsible for embedding AI-first practices across the engineering function to improve development speed, delivery quality, and scalability.

This leader will oversee a team of Technical Leads and Cloud DevOps Engineers, providing high-level technical direction across multiple concurrent projects. They will collaborate with the CTO to shape the engineering roadmap and ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • AI Engineering Leadership: Champion the adoption of AI tools and practices to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and project delivery outcomes.
  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Provide high-level technical direction across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and quality.
  • Infrastructure & Architecture: Design, implement, and oversee modern cloud-based solutions with AI-driven optimization for speed, cost, and performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, embedding AI-first skills, fostering innovation, and driving professional growth.
  • Project Excellence: Ensure superior technical outcomes by leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate development, resolve complex issues, and maintain world-class standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This senior technical leader should possess a strong track record in software engineering, solutions architecture, and AI-powered innovation. They should have at least 10 years of development experience, including deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, and at least 5 years in senior technical leadership roles.
