Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

Global Medics is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatry Staff Specialist (Psychiatry Consultant) to fill a key role at a large territory care hospital and referral centre based in Queensland, Australia.

The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services including cardiac, obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric, neurosurgical, orthopaedic, cancer, mental health, neonatal, allied health, anaesthetic and intensive care services.

  • Yearly salary $210,332 - $266,677
  • Fortnightly salary $8,062.00 - $10,221.70
  • Total remuneration $428,904 up to $536,916

Benefits:

Remuneration package of up to $536,916 p.a., comprising base salary range of $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., plus applicable allowances/benefits, recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary), regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary), motor vehicle allowance (between $21,000 and $25,000 p.a.), professional development allowance ($21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave), private practice arrangements, communications package, professional indemnity cover and inaccessibility allowance (if applicable). 482 visa sponsorship.

The Location:

Townsville is located in North Queensland, near the Great Barrier Reef and Cairns.

Requirements:

  1. Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
  2. Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
