We are seeking a seasoned Technical Director or Senior Mechanical Engineer to expand our specialist team of dams mechanical engineers. About the Role

The role involves providing technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure for projects globally.

  • Provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure
  • Mentor and develop the skills of team members to enhance their capability
  • Lead and oversee delivery of quality technical solutions and successful project outcomes that meet client needs
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on the mechanical engineering aspects of water storage dams
  • At least 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks and screens, fishways, pipe work, valves and other mechanical equipment associated with dams
  • Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, dams engineers, and electrical and civil engineers
