Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Dam Engineer.

About the Position

This critical role involves overseeing the design, planning, and construction of dams. It also entails inspecting and maintaining these structures, managing safety protocols, promoting environmental stewardship, and operating water flow management systems.

  • Design & Plan: Collaborate in designing dams, hydraulic modeling, safety assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise Construction: Lead on-site oversight, quality assurance, and manage timelines, resources.
  • Inspect & Maintain: Conduct routine inspections, oversee monitoring systems, and implement maintenance plans.
  • Manage Safety: Develop emergency action plans, conduct risk assessments, and perform rigorous safety audits.
  • Champion Environment & Compliance: Lead environmental impact assessments, prepare permits, and adopt sustainable practices.
  • Operate & Innovate: Steer water flow management, hydropower operations (if applicable), flood control mechanisms—and explore new technologies to boost safety and sustainability.
About You
  • You hold a degree in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering, with bonuses for hydrology or water resources specialization.
  • You bring practical experience in dam construction, operation, or maintenance.
  • You're adept with tools like AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software, and structural analysis techniques.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, you're a problem-solver who understands both engineering challenges and regulatory standards.
