Seeking a strategic tax leader to drive high-impact transactions and advisory services in our business.

About the Role

We are looking for a commercially-minded tax professional with expertise in major transactions and operational matters. As a key member of our tax team, you will report directly to the Head of Tax and be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice on complex issues.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, legal, finance, and investment teams, as well as industry bodies, influencing both day-to-day decisions and long-term initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-level tax guidance on major transactions and operational matters
  • Managing relationships with external advisors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Providing input on proposed legislation and participating in industry consultations
  • Coordinating external service providers on tax filing and lodgement obligations
  • Supporting business continuity, tax forecasting, and transformation initiatives
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will combine technical excellence with strong commercial acumen and collaborative energy. You will also bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in corporate tax, ideally with trust structures and transaction exposure
  • CA, CPA or post-grad tax law qualification
  • Experience in property, investment management, or financial services (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions
  • A team-first approach, contributing to collective success while driving individual outcomes
