Job Role:

Senior Tax Expertise Advisor

As a seasoned Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business decisions through your expertise in tax strategy and transactions.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, legal, finance, and investment teams to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality tax advice on significant transactions and operational matters.
  • Build relationships with external advisors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to proposed legislation and participate in industry consultations.
  • Coordinate external service providers for tax filing and lodgement obligations.
  • Support business continuity, tax forecasting, and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years' experience in corporate tax, preferably with trust structures and transaction exposure.
  • CA, CPA or post-grad tax law qualification.
  • Experience in property, investment management, or financial services (desired).
  • Strong communication skills – able to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions.
