Support Workers Required in Hervey Bay

At Just Better Care, we're dedicated to providing exceptional in-home aged care and disability support services across Australia. We're currently seeking Community Support Workers to join our QLD team in Hervey Bay, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers.

About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you'll be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our customers in their own homes. Your duties may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Offering social support and transportation, including accompanying customers to medical appointments and social activities
  • Supporting customers with complex needs, including the use of aids and equipment
  • Monitoring customer well-being and reporting on progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
  • Proof of vaccination (where relevant)
  • A current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • A current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and Working with Children Check Card
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence
  • A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)
  • A smartphone with internet access
