About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you'll be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our customers in their own homes. Your duties may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Offering social support and transportation, including accompanying customers to medical appointments and social activities
  • Supporting customers with complex needs, including the use of aids and equipment
  • Monitoring customer well-being and reporting on progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals with a minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services. You'll also need to provide proof of vaccination, hold a current CPR/First Aid Certificate, and have a current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and Working with Children Check Card. A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle is also a must, as well as a smartphone with internet access.
