At Just Better Care, we provide in-home aged care and disability support services across Australia, empowering individuals to live independently. We are currently seeking Community Support Workers to join our QLD team in Hervey Bay, offering a flexible and balanced work-life experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Personal care: assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: accompanying customers to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
  • Supporting customers with the use of aids and equipment, including standing frames, wheelchairs, and hearing aids
  • Monitoring customers' well-being and reporting progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
  • Proof of Vaccination (where relevant)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and Working with Children Check Card
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)
  • Smartphone with internet access
