About the Role

This is a hands-on technical position that offers commercial opportunities and exposure to various projects. As a Technical Service Engineer, you will work on HV cable systems, collaborating with utilities and contractors, and contributing to project delivery.

You will have the chance to develop your technical-commercial skills, working on projects such as major utility upgrades, renewables, data centers, and industrial facilities. Your expertise will shape Australia's energy infrastructure, making a tangible impact every day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training and supporting utilities and contractors on HV cable systems
  • Running product demos and installations up to 245kV
  • Troubleshooting and solving real on-site HV challenges
  • Contribution to tenders and project delivery
  • Developing product management skills and setting up part numbers

About You

We are looking for a practical, field-oriented individual who is confident, capable of winning trust quickly, and has solid HV cable experience. You should be comfortable on-site advising contractors, training crews, or troubleshooting tough problems.

Requirements include:

  • Solid HV cable experience (jointing, terminations up to 245kV)
  • Confidence running product demos and training sessions for contractors/utilities
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex HV challenges on-site
  • Ability to contribute to tenders and support project delivery
