Central Coast New South Wales, Australia Rarekind Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Big-business backing, small-team feel
  • Hands-on HV role with commercial & product management
  • Hybrid working + Car Allowance + Global training opportunities
  • Sales incentive bonuses

Ever wanted a role where your hands-on technical expertise shapes Australia's energy and industrial infrastructure?

Love being in the thick of the action but ready to step off the tools. Or maybe you've already dipped into product management but bring a solid HV engineering background?

This role gives you the best of both worlds.

You'll still be hands-on, running product demos, training utilities and Tier 1 contractors, and solving HV problems on-site.

Did we mention you'll also move into a technical and commercial space with exposure to global projects and career opportunities?

You'll be working on projects that matter.

Major utility upgrades, renewables, data centers, and industrial facilities. Every day is different, and every solution you implement has a real, tangible impact.

About The Opportunity:

Imagine seeing your work come to life across Australia's most critical HV cable projects.

You'll be on the road, rubbing shoulders with utilities and Tier 1 contractors, running product demonstrations, delivering training, and overseeing installations of HV cable accessories up to 245kV.

And it's not all just technical.

You'll gain valuable exposure to the commercial side, from setting up part numbers and contributing to tenders, to supporting projects all the way from concept through to installation.

It's hands-on today, with a clear path into product management and technical-commercial leadership tomorrow.

Day to day you'll:

  • Train and support utilities and Tier 1 contractors on HV cable systems
  • Run product demos and installations up to 245kV
  • Troubleshoot and solve real on-site HV challenges
  • Contribute to tenders and project delivery
  • Set up product part numbers and build product management skills
  • Travel opportunities across Australia supporting customers

The Business:

A global leader in connectivity and sensor solutions across the electrical industry.

They deliver the technology behind Australia's most critical infrastructure.

An organisation that backs its people with serious resources, training, and career pathways, while still giving you the close-knit feel of a small, supportive team.

You'll know your growth is promoted in this kind of business.

With a generous car allowance, paid travel, and sales incentive bonuses on top of your base salary, you're rewarded not just for showing up, but for the impact you make.

About You:

You're the kind of person who thrives in the field, practical, confident, and able to win trust quickly.

This is your chance to build commercial influence; into everything you do.

You know HV cables, jointing, terminations, the lot. You're confident on-site, whether advising contractors, training crews, or troubleshooting tough problems.

You're ready to step beyond a purely technical role, building commercial influence and positioning yourself for leadership opportunities down the line.

  • Solid HV cable experience (jointing, terminations up to 245kV)
  • Confidence running product demos and training sessions for contractors/utilities
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex HV challenges on-site
  • Ability to contribute to tenders and support project delivery
  • Exposure to LV systems or product management
