Operational Manager for Community Services

This is a challenging role that will see you overseeing the daily operations of a library team, managing the library's collection to meet community needs and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of library staff in their daily activities, with a focus on driving performance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee the library's collection, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure it meets the needs of the local community.
- Use workforce management initiatives to support your team, provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and staff.
- Work collaboratively with regional partners to build relationships and ensure library services meet community needs.
- Maintain the library's facilities and venue, contribute to the review of processes and services, and prepare reports on service outcomes.
The successful candidate will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and occasional late nights. The library operates a rotating roster system, with shift times between 8am and 6pm.
