Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to join our team and lead the delivery of major state-wide road safety initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading resources in direct and indirect teams to ensure the successful implementation of state-wide road safety programs.

About the Role

  • Led the development and delivery of projects by leading resources in direct and indirect teams to ensure successful implementation of state-wide road safety programs.
  • Led oversight and governance for projects, driving financial planning, monitoring and reporting to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
  • Led collaborative work with senior leadership to support strategic planning process and delivery of departmental priorities related to key road safety programs.
  • Led formulation of project strategies for the implementation of transport infrastructure, including procurement strategies to ensure successful delivery of programs.
  • Effective People Leadership – Provided effective leadership and people management to their team, as a valued member of the executive team.
  • Authoritative Advice – Provided high quality, authoritative advice to executive leadership and Road Safety Victoria to support transport portfolio objectives and respond to emerging issues.
  • Stakeholder Management – Key internal and external stakeholders have been engaged and collaborative partnerships formed across government and the community to integrate and coordinate policy and delivery.
  • Risk Management – Led risk identification and mitigation strategies at program level and individual projects to maximise successful implementation of road safety programs.
  • Organisational Change - Led and contributed to organisational reforms and assessments of change initiatives and organisational improvements.
