Job Description:

The role of a Commercial Account Executive is to sell Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to new and existing customers.

  • Sell Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive pipeline development through cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within designated market sectors.
  • Engage with prospect organisations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, case definition, return on investment analysis, references, and analyst data.

This role requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing new business and experience selling technology that helps transform customers' businesses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Own the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics.
  • Handle strategic accounts and relationships across the team.
  • Drive pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within designated market sectors.
  • Engage with prospect organisations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, case definition, return on investment analysis, references, and analyst data.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills.
  • A proven track record of closing new business.
  • Experience selling technology that helps transform customers' businesses.
  • Credibility internally and with customers.
  • Validated sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement.
