Job Title: Data Governance Expert

Data Risk and Governance

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Governance Expert. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our data by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.


About the Role
  • Collaborate with data owners to bring enterprise-critical data usages under governance.
  • Document end-to-end data flows, identify and assess data risks, and implement mitigating controls.
  • Develop and maintain data governance and risk management methodologies.
  • Train stakeholders on data management framework obligations and provide advisory support.
  • Identify data gaps and recommend strategic remediation while coaching and mentoring team members.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in data management, operational risk management, or a related field. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance and risk management strategies.
  • Conduct regular data audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on data management best practices.
  • Provide advisory support to business leaders on data-related matters.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance.
