Senior IT Governance Expert

We are seeking a seasoned IT Auditor or Internal Audit Manager to lead audits from inception to timely completion. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of IT audit methodologies and requirements, as well as a solid working knowledge of regulatory compliance.

  • Manage the execution of IT audits, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet time, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with management teams, senior management, and subject matter experts related to audits.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication to stakeholders regarding findings, risks recommendations, and progress of assignments.
  • Support senior management in the process of analysing key risks and controls.
  • Review adequacy of action taken by management to correct reported control deficiencies.
  • Assist in preparing reports for regulators.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in an Internal IT Audit role within Banking and Finance.
  • In-depth understanding of IT audit methodologies and requirements.
  • Solid working knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Member of an appropriate professional body - Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), CPA Australia (CPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
