About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Data Insights Lead to join our Data Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing user behavior data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization;
  • Maintaining robust data models to support analysis and reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency;
  • Collaborating with data engineers to source, clean, and transform financial and business data for analysis;
  • Developing predictive models to improve business outcomes and generate commercial value;
  • Synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and the board;
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial acumen: a deep understanding of how data relates to desired commercial outcomes and strategy;
  • Data modeling expertise: proficiency in relational database design, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling;
  • SQL skills: ability to write complex queries to extract and transform data;
  • Data visualization knowledge: experience in creating clear and compelling dashboards and reports;
  • Business acumen: familiarity with SafetyCulture's business model, financial operations, and key performance indicators;
  • Data analysis skills: ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights;
  • Data manipulation skills: proficiency in cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis;
