
Pricing Strategist

As a Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing pricing strategies to maximize business results. This role is based in our head office locations and reports to the Senior Manager Pricing and Analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Pricing management: Monitor market trends, product profitability, funding requirements, and customer feedback to inform proactive pricing recommendations.
- Market analysis: Draft and submit quality pricing submissions, reports, and analytics based on strategy to senior leaders and the Pricing Committee as required.
- Portfolio management: Evaluate timely and accurate data analysis on portfolios and combine it with relevant market or competitor insights.
- Forecasting: Develop forecasting scenarios and provide recommendations for the business to consider in line with targeted return profiles.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial and non-financial data.
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests with an organized and proactive approach to work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the drivers to product profitability, banking products, and services.
The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of legal and regulatory environments for Financial Services, general financial industry knowledge, and base skills in SQL and PowerBI for data extraction and manipulation/presentation.
