High Voltage Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Electrician to lead our team in delivering exceptional electrical solutions. As a key member, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing high voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage electrical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in high voltage systems and components.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent system failures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement high voltage system upgrades and modifications.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards for high voltage work.
  • Document all work performed, including Inspection Test Plans and Reports.
  • Mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of high voltage safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
Credentials:
  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • QLD Electrical License.
  • HV Switching Certificate.
  • Current CPR/LVR certification.
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
  • White/Blue Construction Card.
