Culturally Sensitive Dental Career Opportunity

We are seeking experienced dental professionals to work on-site in remote clinics, providing treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care.
- A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) is required for this role.
- You must have a minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience and current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Evidence of recent CPD in Hand Hygiene, Infection Control and Sterilisation/Introduction to reprocessing reusable Medical Devices is also necessary.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental assistant within the past 2 years is preferred.
- Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks are available, with travel and accommodation covered.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support are provided to help you transition into remote healthcare.
- Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is included.
