Job Title: Lifestyle Officer

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive care experience for our residents.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement individualized lifestyle programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are met.
  • Design and deliver leisure programs that promote social interaction, engagement, and enjoyment.
  • Update resident documentation and assessments as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that the care plan is implemented and reviewed regularly.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support is essential.
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy is highly regarded.
  • Experience in an aged care facility, including working with dementia or Huntington's clients, is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work on a permanent part-time basis with flexibility to work across the week.
  • Strong attention to detail, confident, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan.
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities.
  • Vaccinated against Influenza and Covid-19.
  • National Police Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
