About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Content Director to lead our RV lifestyle publication into its next chapter. As a key member of the MADVENTURE team, you will be responsible for managing freelance contributors, overseeing editorial budgets, and ensuring high-quality, engaging content for our monthly issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of freelance journalists and ensure timely content delivery within budget.
  • Source and edit articles and images for each issue, working closely with the design team to support the magazine's design process.
  • Fully control the editorial budget, making strategic decisions to maximise content value and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to support revenue creation and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an editor or assistant editor role, with a strong background in magazine editing and content operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • A passion for RV travel and lifestyle would be advantageous, but not essential.
