Hoist Rigger Job

This job offers the opportunity to work as part of a skilled crew delivering quality equipment and customer solutions, with safety always the top priority.

The role involves rigging activities, including the prep, installation, maintenance, repair and dismantling of hoists as well as the installation and removal of crane decks.

  • Rigging activities will include preparing sites for equipment installation, installing and maintaining hoists, and removing them at the end of their lifespan.
  • Work will be carried out on different sites between Coolangatta and the Sunshine Coast.
  • Ensuring equipment is inspected, serviced, and maintained regularly as per guidelines will be an essential part of this role.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during installation, maintenance, repair or dismantle will also be required.
What We're Looking For
  • Advanced or Intermediate Riggers Ticket
  • MR/HR license (preferred)
  • Forklift ticket (preferred)
  • Construction White Card
  • A strong knowledge of hoist rigging techniques, regulations, industry standards, and mechanical aptitude will be essential to this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
