Job Title:

Flooring Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure areas to be covered and estimate quantities of flooring materials required.
  • Prepare surfaces for covering and remove baseboard trims.
  • Lay coverings such as carpets, linoleum, parquetry blocks, cork tiles, and resilient flooring materials over floors.
  • Secure floor coverings and fit edge trims in doorways.
  • Sand, stain, and apply finishing coatings to timber floors.
  • May install wall, ceiling, counter, and bench coverings.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) as a Flooring Installer.
  • Australian Work authorisation: Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident.
  • At least two years' experience as a Flooring Installer.
