Your Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support to women affected by domestic and family violence, working closely with clients at our site to assist with intake, assessment, and daily support needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic, trauma-informed care and support, ensuring client dignity and rights are upheld
  • Collaborate with case management to implement tailored client case plans
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with daily operations
  • Advocate for clients with external agencies as needed
  • Ensure support aligns with the Client Service Delivery Model and best practice standards
  • Operate in a safe and ethical manner, following WHS guidelines and safeguarding children and young people

You Will Need

  • To be female (genuine occupational requirement)
  • A relevant Certificate or equivalent experience, or tertiary study in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • An ethical, non-judgmental approach to supporting residents and staff
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster
