We're seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Advisor to join our team at Olam Agri, a leading player in the Australian agricultural industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience in on-site safety management to contribute to our safety culture and evolve our systems. As a key member of our Safety team, you'll be responsible for developing and conducting training packages, providing feedback and coaching to site supervisors and managers, conducting safety inductions, performing audits and inspections, and supporting the General Manager in developing and reviewing primary procedures.
With a strong focus on problem-solving and engaging leaders to create a safer workplace, this role is ideal for a resilient self-starter who can foster a collaborative environment across multiple sites. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are proficient in Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you.
Key Requirements- At least 5 years of experience in on-site safety management in process manufacturing, logistics, or farming environments
- Qualification in Health & Safety (Cert IV WHS or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of QLD & NSW WHS legislation
- Experience with incident investigation using ICAM methodology
- Proven ability to develop and write primary procedures and other safety documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage dynamic workloads
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Maintained company vehicle, laptop, and phone
- Frequent opportunities to travel to various sites across Queensland and New South Wales
