The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving financial performance. Your expertise will be essential in leading a team of accountants and implementing process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial reporting strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance
  • Lead a team of accountants and provide guidance on financial reporting and process improvements
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the executive function and Group Level functions to drive business outcomes
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and review of weekly/daily EBITDA report
  • Take the lead on the year-end external audit and preparation of financial statements
  • Support preparation of board and group-level reporting

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in financial reporting and a proven track record of leading teams and driving business outcomes. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification with a CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience in a big four accountancy firm would be advantageous
  • Extensive technical accountancy experience ideally with both professional and industry experience
  • Experience in finance transformations, project management, and business planning
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and their application
