The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Crown Sydney. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis to support the operational management of our F&B departments. This will involve working closely with our operational teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing financial controls to minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with operational management to understand business performance and reporting needs
  • Provide financial assistance and advice to operational teams
  • Assist in the month-end reporting process for non-gaming businesses
  • Coordinate adjustments and operational feedback and queries
  • Provide input into budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conduct analysis on expenditure, including variance analysis and productivity ratios
  • Assist with the preparation of internal management reports
  • Provide commercial and finance support to senior operational management
  • Support with statutory audit requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical experience in financial accounting and management accounting
  • Experience in project management and business planning
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
  • Recognition as a member of CA or CPA (or working towards this)
  • Ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses
