Urgent Search Assistant Director

About the Role:

The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.

This is a key leadership role that requires a professional with strong mentoring and developmental skills, who can build relationships with families and the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Servicing the Centre Director: The Assistant Director will support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
  • Mentorship and Development: Develop capabilities within the centre team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Centre Operations: Manage the centre's operations in the absence of the Centre Director.
  • Practice Implementation: Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to ensure high-quality services are delivered.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with leadership and build strong relationships with families and the community.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Mentoring Skills: Strong mentoring skills, with the ability to develop capabilities within a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community.
