Early Childhood Educator Position

We are seeking a skilled Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Bayview Heights. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and care to young children.
Key Responsibilities- To work alongside Senior Educators and the Educational Leader in crafting and enhancing exceptional learning programs for our children
- To ensure every child thrives and feels valued in their learning experiences, promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- A supportive and inclusive environment where staff feel valued and empowered to grow professionally
- Opportunities for paid professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Our beautiful centre accommodates 75 children daily across five distinct rooms and features three spacious yards. We boast a dedicated, separate Kindergarten yard, abundant shade, natural elements, and a variety of loose parts for creative play.
We are conveniently located near two shopping centres and just across the road from a local primary school, offering flexible working arrangements where possible to promote staff work-life balance.
Our Centre Director provides mentorship to all staff members, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development. She demonstrates the values and behaviours expected from the team, including maintaining a professional attitude, dedication to the children's education and well-being, and consistently applying best practices in childcare.
