Early Childhood Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our educational community. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the early years of education.
- This role involves supporting the delivery of quality early learning by assisting with engaging activities and classroom preparation under the guidance of the school administration.
- The ideal candidate will assist teachers in planning, resource management, and facilitating learning using established educational frameworks.
- A key aspect of this role is interacting with children to foster their holistic development, including identity, connectedness, wellbeing, active learning, communication, and smooth transitions.
- Duties also include preparing and managing learning materials, supervising small-group activities, and aiding with administrative tasks such as photocopying, roll-taking, and resource organisation.
- Fundamental qualifications in education support (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Education Support), or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Early Childhood, with recent experience in an Early Childhood classroom.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in planning, observing, and reporting using established Early Childhood frameworks.
- A valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is essential for this position.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, adaptability, and growth-focused mindset skills are highly desirable.
- A commitment to respecting individual learning needs, fostering community focus, and building child-centred partnerships is required.
