Job Description:

As a field-based technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) products and systems for critical power applications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronics equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work closely with project management teams to carry out site inspections, commissioning, and testing of critical power systems, creating and modifying documentation and reports as required. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance and support to customers and internal stakeholders, respond to emergency repair requests, and perform FAT/SAT testing on units, preparing detailed reports on tests carried out.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Grade Electrician or equivalent qualification
  • 5 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipment
  • Diploma or degree qualification in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or industrial automation
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience writing reports
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, plan, follow up, and work autonomously
