Murdoch University is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join its team at The Animal Hospital. As a key member of the diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures for small and large animals.
About UsMurdoch University is a leading research institution with a strong commitment to animal welfare and veterinary education. Our Animal Hospital provides a range of services, including diagnostic imaging, surgery, and emergency care, to animals in need.
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work closely with our team of veterinarians and nurses to provide exceptional patient care and support the learning needs of our students. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including a 1.5 Tesla MRI and 80 Slice CT scanner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures for small and large animals
- Provide support and training to veterinary students and nurses in the diagnostic imaging department
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and techniques

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science (Medical Imaging Science) or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of two years' experience in medical and/or veterinary diagnostic imaging procedures post-qualification
- A current Radiation Licence with the Radiological Council of Western Australia
- Experience in CT and/or MRI, general radiography, and C-arm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
