We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Imaging team as a Medical Imaging Specialist. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
This role involves supporting our doctors and technical team, working alongside a team of four other nurses. The ideal candidate will have experience in Radiology, although training can be provided for those with a keen interest in this area.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service by performing procedures such as stress tests, IV sedations, FNAs, core biopsies, CT cholangiograms, discograms, arthrograms, RFAs, cardiac CTs, and CT coronary calcium scores.
- Interpret radiological requests and execute procedures in compliance with established protocols and applicable legislation.
- Develop and maintain specialist nursing expertise through continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with advancements, new techniques, and specialized nursing practices.
The successful applicant will bring demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate care and excellent service to patients and carers. They will also possess strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork abilities.
