Empowering Individuals through Support Services

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role:

You will work closely with our team to provide one-on-one support to clients, assisting them with daily living activities, personal care, and accessing community resources. You will also maintain accurate records and case notes, ensuring that each client's needs are met and their progress is tracked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support coordination using a person-centered approach to assist participants in capacity and independence building;
  • Maintain accurate records and case notes on participants;
  • Engage with participants, supports, and third parties to achieve NDIS goals;

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support;
  • Australian driver's license with comprehensive car insurance;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination;
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Knowledge and understanding of mental health and mental illness;
