About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative and collaborative research that will help develop a global industry and academic reputation for UniSA Business in the area of marketing science.

The successful candidate will focus on at least one aspect of the Institute's research agenda, as directed by the Director of the Institute. This will involve engaging in high-quality end-user research projects, winning research funding independently, and producing high-quality industry-relevant research outputs.

The Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science is an internationally renowned centre for research in marketing, with a strong reputation for conducting high-quality research that informs industry practice and policy. The Institute's research streams are run by academic staff from across UniSA Business and a select group of international adjunct academics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support research activities, in line with the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute's research agenda.
  • Attract, support and contribute to the supervision of HDR students and project staff in research-related activities.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of new knowledge by drafting and publishing corporate sponsor reports, abstracts, scientific papers and other instruments providing accounts of research undertaking and the findings observed.

The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the research team, industry partners, and other stakeholders to achieve research goals and outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • A doctorate in a relevant priority discipline area.
  • A demonstrated capacity to identify and conduct high-quality research, evidenced in publications preferably in highly ranked refereed marketing journals.
  • The ability to initiate and develop research proposals and submissions to obtain Category 2 and 3 research funding from organisations.
