About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research Specialist to support the development and execution of JCDecaux market research and advertising effectiveness studies. The ideal candidate will have experience in research or insights, gained in either agency, media owner, or client side.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ad-hoc JCDecaux research requirements, including our research community, working closely with the Group Manager
  • Support the development, management, and execution of JCDecaux PROOF, our program of significant Out-of-Home effectiveness studies
  • Develop relationships with research suppliers and agencies
  • Build research presentations and present research findings to clients
  • Localise international research projects from JCDecaux's global network
  • Actively manage our research knowledge, including maintenance of a library of case studies for access by the wider business
  • Regularly support the wider marketing team, notably with regards to innovation and new approaches to data, research, and insights
  • Ideate research innovation and scope complex methodologies such as Media Mix Modelling

Requirements

  • Knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, including survey writing
  • Data/numeric literacy – comfortable with large data sets
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • High level of competency in written and verbal communication
  • Internal and external relationship building
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • A passion for advertising effectiveness and the media industry
