Job Overview
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of ITS projects and operational issues. Key areas include:
- Providing third-level hardware and application technical support and troubleshooting advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Building rapport through the business as a subject matter expert for clients, subcontractors, field technicians, and repair centre staff
- Ensuring timely problem identification and root cause resolution using a strong customer service approach
- Working closely with internal departments to conduct training and testing on specialised technical products
- Contributing to the organisational direction by providing advice to Management on business risks, technology, and best practices in the area of ATM hardware and applications
Requirements
You will be the go-to person for complex technical escalations that are difficult to resolve. You will need to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of ATMs/Cash Management devices or technical know-how
- Root cause analysis skills in computer hardware/software
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong time management skills
- Good customer service skills and a great attitude
- Able to work a 5-day rotating roster (including weekends)
